Pressure Vessels
We’ve been Pressure Vessel Manufacturers for over 150 years and continue to supply Pressure Vessels and Air Receivers to some of the worlds most prestigious companies. We can design and manufacture from receipt of basic instruction – with ISO9001 Quality Standard and PE(S)R 2016/PED approval for a broad range of Pressure Vessels.
Design
Vessels can be designed, fabricated and inspected to a variety of codes, including: BS EN 13445, PD5500, BS5169, ASME, EN286 (Part 1), Lloyds Class 1, 2/2 & 3, Bureau Veritas, Det Norske Veritas (DNV), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), EN13445, A D Merkblatter, GOST and most other well known specifications. For use in EC vessels can conform with 2014/68/EU Pressure Equipment Directive or 2014/29/EU Simple Pressure Vessels Directive.
Manufacture
Abbotts have a broad range of welding experience, approvals and skills. With inter-process QA, high quality levels are maintained. Reliable deliveries are secured by using a bespoke production control system.
Inspection
ISO9001 Inspection Authorities and Insurance Company Surveyors welcome .Arrangements made for specimen weld testing, and independent materials inspection.
Testing
Materials, Processes, and Final Products are tested in a variety of ways, including: Ultrasonic, Tensile Tests, X-ray, Vickers Hardness Tests, Dye Penetration, Hydrostatic, Radiographic, Phased Array UT etc.
Finish
With in house Blast Cleaning and Paint Spray facilities, Internal and External finishes to specific BS/EN/ISO standards are common practice. Galvanising, Epoxy Resin, DWI approved paint, and other finishes at your request.
Documentation
Full Certification can be supplied: – Certificates of Conformity, Hydraulic tests, weld procedures, weld tests, material certificates, pressure gauges, relief valves etc. upon your request.
