Dished and Flanged Ends

We have been hot forming our own dished ends for Pressure Vessels since 1886. With our own furnace and press we hot form a range of ends up to 1220mm  Diameter. For more information, please click here. Special dishings may be made to order – please ask.
Our Pressure vessel dished ends are mostly used on our own ranges of Pressure Vessels and Air Receivers.

Materials:

All Abbott Dished and Flanged Ends are manufactured from Pressure Vessel  Quality mild steel plate Conforming to BS 1501-151-430A or equal. Material Test Certificates can be provided if required (please state at time of ordering).

Edge Preparation:

Edges will be as pressed (Additional Charge for edge preps).

Centre Hole:

All of the ends have a central hole of 27 mm Diameter.

Dimensions:

Due to the nature of the materials and processes used, we cannot always guarantee that dimensions will be exactly as stated, however, we will pair together matching ends on orders of two or more.

Thinning:

Thickness is before forming, thinning will occur due to the forming process. Ends are normally available Ex Stock!
