Abbotts bombed in WW2 Air Raid – Newark 1941

On 7 March 1941 a daring raid by two German Heinkel 111 bombers targeting our neighbouring ball bearing factory sadly killing 41 The photo below shows the bombing runs with Abbotts airbrushed our below.
